The airification of cities

A little preview of our upcoming work on the transformation of Italian historic centres into tourist theme parks. Here is a map of the current airbnb offering within the medieval walls in the centre of Florence.
A staggering 19% of the entire housing stock is listed on AirBnB, in a form or another (a 60% increase over the same period in 2015), with around 15% of the housing stock being offered as entire flats for short term rent. All this amidst the worst housing crisis since WW2.
